The OCEANSIDE OPEN Fly-In!
When: Saturday May 1st, 2010
Where: Oceanside Community Center
We had a great weekend with many pilots flying Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All five local sites were flown: Oceanside, Cape Lookout, Sollie, Tierra del Mar and Cape Kiwanda.
Pilots came from far and wide including: Seattle, Canada, Wyoming, and Washington DC.
Approximately $1900 was raised of which $500 will be donated to the Cape Mears Lighthouse Restoration Fund on June 10th. Some of the balance is being used for the launch improvements at Oceanside and the balance will be saved for future site improvements.
